Kids are loud. Husband is already convinced he is winning. I am just trying to find my missing card before someone accuses me of cheating.
Then out of nowhere, completely unprompted, my daughter puts her cards down and says it.
“Mom. DaisyHacks.”
…what? 😶
Two seconds of silence. Then everyone at the table just lost it. 😂 My son immediately told his dad to buy the domain. My husband already had his phone out. I was still trying to figure out what just happened.
That was it. That was the whole origin story of this blog. One random comment from a kid who probably forgot she said it by morning.
I am a mom of two, a cleaning hack obsessive, and apparently the owner of a blog named by a second grader at a card table. The logo is hers too. Wobbly petals and all. We love it here. 🌸
