How This Blog Got Its Name

It was a Tuesday. Eight o’clock. Game night. The kids were loud, my husband was already convinced he was winning, and I was just trying to find my missing card. Then, completely out of nowhere, my daughter put her cards down and said it.

Two seconds of silence, and then the whole table lost it. My son told his dad to buy the domain on the spot. That was the entire origin story of this blog: one random comment from a second grader at a card table. She drew the logo too, wobbly petals and all, and we would not change it for anything.
